Objectives

CSPR is presenting this exciting educational program to bring the latest advances in the Art & Science of Pulmonary Rehabilitation by an outstanding faculty.

The presentations will focus on current research, clinical application of the latest information, and best strategies to strengthen your program in today's reimbursement enironment.

Who should attend: Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, and all other other healthcare professionals associated with Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Upon completion attendees will be able to:

  1. Identify two key methods to increase referrals to Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
  2. Describe the three most common billing and coding errors.
  3. Identify the patient group most often diagnosed with Lymphangiomyomatosis (LAM Lung Disease.)
  4. Understand the effects of exercise on lung function and on muscle strength.
  5. Identify two possible approaches to the treatment of cachexia in COPD.
  6. Describe three clinical symptoms associated with pulmonary hyptertension.
  7. Describe the role of POLST in end-of-life discussions.
  8. Identify three ways COPD patients are discrimiated against.
  9. Describe three methods to better oxygenate your restrictive lung patients.
